Create Notification #

To create a notification, open your form in edit mode, click on Add-ons -> Uberic Form Notifications in the top-right corner of the page to activate the add-on:

click on the Create Email Notification option:

the add-on sidebar pops up in the bottom right corner:

then fill out the form to suit your needs.

Of the fields in the form, 4 are required: Notification name, Sender's email address, Sender's name, and Notify email addresses.

Once the form is filled out, remember to click on Save Notification at the bottom to save your settings.

Settings #

You can define the behavior of the notification in the settings below.

Notification name #

The name of the notification. This field is required.

Sender's email address #

The email address in the From field in the notification message's headers. You can choose to send from your primary Gmail address, or another email address if you have added it to your Gmail account. This field is required.

Sender's name #

The name in the From field in the notification message's headers. This field is required.

Notify email addresses #

The email addresses the notification is sent to.

Multiple email addresses separated by commas are possible. For example:

joe@uberic.com, jane@uberic.com

This field is required.

Reply-to email address #

This field specifies the email address used in the reply-to field of the notification message.

Custom notification template #

If you need to customize the template for the notification message, you can use a visual or a code editor for this goal.

Generate PDF #

Check this option if you need to generate a PDF file that contains the form response data.

Attachments #

You can attach any files you have access to on Google Drive to a notification.

Enter the Id of the file in the textarea. If multiple files are to be attached, you can use commas to separate the Ids. For example:

Make sure the attachment Id's are correctly entered. Uberic Form Notifications will check each attachment Id before saving the notification. If it finds any attachment Id incorrect, it will display "ScriptError: bad attachment Id" in the sidebar.

When you see "ScriptError: bad attachment Id", simply fix the attachment Id's, then save the notification again.
